Yeah, I have an artistic license.

Seriously, what most people know about jewelry and design comes from looking at gold, silver or platinum jewelry. The process of making a piece of titanium jewelry is very different, and thus the design of that piece must also be different. In my ten years of working in titanium I've found there are ways of forming shapes that work well and look good. I've also found out the hard way that some designs just don't work out. Allowing me artistic license is simply asking for my experiance in working titanium to form a piece that is not only feasible but also visially stunning.
